Mother's
Day is a special day across the world on the second Sunday in May. This year, the annual holiday falls on May 10. For Mother's Day, Pawan Kalyan's wife Anna Konidela put up a poignant note on motherhood and acknowledged the hardships women go through to become mothers. She wrote a note on Instagram honouring them all as she wished everyone 'Happy Mother's Day.' Anna also posted a family photo with her husband Pawan, her mother-in-law and their baby daughter. Anna, who is Russian, married Pawan in September 2013.
Anna Konidela's special Mother's Day post
On Instagram, Anna Konidela wrote an ode to motherhood that covered women from all walks of life. Her Mother's Day post acknowledged young and old mothers, along with those who gave birth naturally and those who had to use IVF. She singled out stay-at-home and working mothers who provided for their families in every way.
Anna's post also included single mothers and women raising children who weren't birthed by them. The emotional note also included mothers who had lost children and those who had miscarriages. She praised those women who dreamed of becoming mothers and others who adopted children. Her note pointed out that since there was no single way to be a woman, there was no single way to be a mother either. She stated, "Behind every version of motherhood is sacrifice, fear, strength, exhaustion, love, and a thousand invisible things the world rarely stops to notice." As she wished her followers a Happy Mother's Day, she pointed out that today is not about perfection. Instead, it was about honouring women for everything that they carried.
