coming together of Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel is one of the biggest creative developments in Telugu cinema right now. Known for blockbusters like KGF, KGF 2, and Salaar, Prashanth has earned the repution of churning out big money spinners. And thus, his colloboration with Jr NTR is being highly anticipated by fans of big scale action movies. Their project, which is currently known by its working title #NTRNeel, was originally slated to hit screens in 2026. However, on Tuesday, April 21, the duo confirmed that the project is postponed by revealing the new release date.
When Will NTR-Neel Hit Theatres?

Jr NTR announced that the film will now release in 2027. He also dropped a release poster, featuring his silloutte, which read that NTR-Neel will be arriving in theatres worldwide on June 11, 2027. His caption read, "HIS REIGN… HIS SOIL… JUNE 11, 2027… IT IS…. #NTRNeel."
While this means that the fans will have to wait for over an year, there is no dearth of excitement among them. One wrote, "The throne isn’t borrowed… it’s claimed. June 11, 2027, we witness history." Another penned, "Mass overload incoming! The box office isn't ready for this. #NTR31."Meanwhile, a few days back, Jr NTR had shared a picture of himself on Instagram, much to the delight of his fans. In the image, the actor was seen flaunting his chiselled back and beefed up biceps at a gym. Captioning the picture, he said, “Built. Not bought. #NTRNeel @kumarmannava @ntrneelfilm.”

The film triggered huge interest in fans and film buffs as soon as it was announced. Unconfirmed reports claim that the film will also feature Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor and Biju Menon.It may be recalled that Jr NTR had joined the sets of the film from April 22 last year.
