The actress shared a throwback picture with Asha Bhosle on her Instagram handle, expressing her emotions while grieving over her favourite singer’s death. Priyanka revealed that she is feeling like losing a piece of her childhood with Asha ji’s death. According to Desi Girl, the actress not only entertained her generation but also inspired many with her journey and dedication towards her work.

Asha Ji was that for so many of us.” The Varanasi actress further mentioned that Asha Bhosle’s voice was not just a part of Indian music but was also a part of the backdrop of people’s lives. Her voice was loved in every household. She was simply a legend for every generation.

Her son Anand Bhosle informed media about her demise and said that she will be cremated at Shivaji Park on April 13 at 4 pm. Asha Bhosle had been one of the most famous singers in the late 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. She also lent her voice to popular indie-pop songs. She was a living legend from the golden era of Indian music. Ever since the news about her death broke, several celebrities, people and politicians have been paying tributes to her on social media.
