Following its successful theatrical run, the film made its OTT debut on Netflix recently and it continues to win acclaim. After Rajinikanth, Mani Ratnam and Udhayanidhi Stalin, the latest celebrity to heap praise on the film Bison is cricket player Dinesh Karthik.
Dinesh Karthik Lauds Mari Selvaraj's Bison
Dinesh Karthik shared his love for the film by sharing appreciation for Mari Selvaraj and called the story heavy and hard hitting. He posted "Bison Kaalamaadan. Loved the movie. What a movie maker Mari Selvaraj is! His movies are heavy and hard hitting," He also showered praise on Dhruv Vikram. He said "Dhruv must have worked his backside off to do it so realistically. All of the supporting cast were very good too. Well done and more power to all of you". The film stars Dhruv Vikram as Kittan, a determined man, wanting to break into the Indian National Kabbadi Team. However, his journey is turbulent as he faces caste differences, violence, and corruption.
Earlier, Bison co-producer and Manathi Ganesan, the Arjuna Award winning Kabaddi player on whom the film is based, also shared his review of Dhruv's effort to become the character. "All of the supporting cast were very good too Well done and more power to all of you," Dinesh concluded his Bison Kaalamaadan movie review.
A few weeks ago, Rajinikanth also shared his appreciation for the film "Super Mari Super, I watched Bison. The effort and personality you put into the film amazed me. Congratulations Mari," said Superstar over a phone call.Mari Selvaraj shared that this was not the first time he had received a call from Rajinikanth after a film’s release. "Just like how Superstar called me after watching 'Pariyerum Perumal', 'Karnan', 'Maamannan', 'Vaazhai', he extended his wishes after watching my fifth film 'Bison (Kaalamadhan)'," the director wrote on X.
