Khan is all set to team up with the filmmaker duo Raj And DRK for a superhero project. The buzz around the film is very high as the makers are currently in search of the leading lady of the film. Earlier, reports surfaced on the internet about the makers considering Samantha Ruth Prabhu to lead the project with Salman. But now, a latest report about Kareena Kapoor Khan has left everyone in shock. The Bollywood diva is currently in talks with Raj And DK to be a part of the superhero spectacle as a female lead opposite Salman Khan.

Kareena Kapoor Khan In Salman Khan’s Superhero Film?

According to a Variety India report, Kareena Kapoor Khan is in advanced talks with the director duo to play the lead role in Salman Khan’s superhero project. There are high chances of the actress signing the film anytime soon. However, she has not yet made any official confirmation about the same. On the other hand, the report also states that Kareena Kapoor has verbally committed her interest to Raj And DK. Salman Khan is believed to have personally reached out to her to consider the project. It looks like the makers have dropped their plans to rope in Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead. Kareena remains the frontrunner for the lead role’s position.

If everything goes well, this would mark Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s fifth collaboration. For the unversed, Bebo and Sallu have earlier worked together in films like Kyon Ki, Main Aur Mrs Khanna, Bodyguard and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The fans will have to wait a little longer for the official confirmation about the leading lady’s casting in the superhero film.

Raj And DK’s upcoming directorial venture will show the Bollywood superstar in a never-seen-before avatar. As per reports, he will be seen playing the role of an ageing superhero who’s drawn back into action by the situations that are beyond his control. Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for Vamshi Paidipally’s next, which also stars Nayanthara as a female lead. After completing its shoot, the actor is likely to commence the superhero film’s shoot in October-November 2026. Salman’s next film, Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace has been postponed and the makers are yet to announce its release date.
