India superstar Mohanlal has announced the new release date for his upcoming film Vrushabha. Earlier set to release on October 16, the film will now hit the theatres on December 25, 2025. Taking to his social media handle, the actor-filmmaker has called it 'legacy roar to life.'

On his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Mohanlal wrote, "Some stories are more than cinema, they’re legacies. This Christmas, witness that legacy roar to life in #Vrusshabha. A film that celebrates emotion, grandeur, and destiny. Releasing worldwide on 25th December 2025."

Mohanlal's Thudarum selected for 56th IFFA

Mohanlal is currently celebrating the success of his film Thudarum which has been selected at the 56th International Film Festival of India. Taking to X (Formerly known as Twitter), Mohanlal penned a heartfelt note and wrote, "Honoured and delighted to share that #Thudarum is an official selection at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in the Indian Panorama category. He concluded the note by expressing gratitude and said, "Thank you for this incredible recognition (with a heart emoticon)."
