Bigg Boss Marathi 6: Raqesh Bapat’s Family Demands Action After Vishal Kotian Drags Divorce Into Physical Fight

Bigg Boss Marathi 6 has been creating a solid buzz amongst the masses with each passing episode. In the latest episode of the Ritiesh Deshmukh-hosted show, Raqesh Bapat and Vishal Kotian engaged in a heated physical fight during a nomination task. When Raqesh mentioned that Vishal doesn’t know how to speak with people and slammed him for talking badly about him behind his back to Prajakta Shukre and Tanvi Kolte, Vishal lost his cool and started attacking Raqesh physically. Moreover, he also talked about Raqesh’s divorce and past relationships during the fight. Now, Raqesh Bapat’s family has issued a statement on social media, in which they demanded strict action against Vishal Kotian for commenting on the Tum Bin actor’s personal life.

Raqesh Bapat’s Family Issues Statement

In the statement shared by Raqesh Bapat’s sister Sheetal Bapat on Instagram on behalf of the family, they stated that Vishal Kotian violated the important rule by bringing other contestants' personal lives on the show. They condemned his action and are deeply disturbed and disappointed by Vishal’s statement. She captioned the post, “WE DEMAND JUSTICE. #JusticeForRB #WeSupportRaqeshBapat.” A part of the statement reads, “What is even more unacceptable is that this was not limited to verbal provocation. It is clearly visible that there was an intentional physical provocation; personal boundaries were crossed, and the situation escalated to physical aggression on camera, which is another major violation of the rules.”

Raqesh’s family demanded Bigg Boss Marathi makers and host Ritiesh Deshmukh take serious note of such violations. For those who are not familiar, Raqesh and Vishal were contestants in Bigg Boss 15.

Raqesh Bapat’s Personal Life

Raqesh Bapat was earlier married to Riddhi Dogra. After marrying in 2011, the couple was together for eight years. In 2019, they got divorced amicably and remained best friends of each other. In Bigg Boss OTT 3, Raqesh met Shamita Shetty. After developing a strong bond of friendship, they fell in love and started dating each other.

However, the relationship didn’t last for a long time, as they parted ways a few months after the end of Bigg Boss 15. Since then, Raqesh has been single. On the other hand, Vishal Kotian bonded well with Shamita Shetty due to their Mangalore connection. Coming back to Bigg Boss Marathi 6, the fight between Raqesh and Vishal has indeed left everyone in shock. Now, it would be interesting to see how Riteish Deshmukh will address this issue in the upcoming Bhaucha Dhakka, aka Weekend Ka Vaar, session.
