Smriti Mandhana, Palaash Muchhal Wedding Choreographer Nandika Denies 'Disrupting Relationship': Receiving Threats

Unverified controversy around Palaash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana doesn’t seem to end. With the internet divided over claims that are yet to be clarified by the families of the to-be-married couple, two

choreographers from the Bosco group, Nandika Dwivedi and Gulnaaz, who were hired to choreograph the wedding dances, were dragged into the already tense situation. Unverified notes on Reddit accused Palaash of cheating on Smriti with a ‘choreographer’. Nandika, one of the choreographers, faced backlash for being an alleged 'disruptor' of the relationship.

Nandika Dwivedi breaks silence

After maintaining a dignified silence, Nandika issued a statement on Instagram, sharing her side of the story. The choreographer wrote, “Over the past few days, I've seen speculation about my involvement in a situation that has been deeply personal for other people. I want to address and clarify that the assumptions being made about me-particularly the idea that I played a role in disrupting anyone's relationship- are simply NOT true. Please understand, this will not be easy for me to come out of, I can not be falsely accused anymore. Please.”Nandika further urged, “I have been watching those I care about feel stressed and hurt by information that is not true and it is taking a toll on my mental health. I had been receiving threats which family members could see and that's why I had made my account private. Please, I request you all to stop the rumours... I have sacrificed a lot to come to Mumbai, to work and achieve my goals. Please do not take my name further than this, I have nothing to do with any of it. Eventually the truth will find its way.”

Palaash Muchhal-Smriti Mandhana wedding

Palaash and Smriti’s wedding was scheduled for November 23. Due to her father’s sudden hospitalisation, the ceremony was postponed indefinitely. Palaash was also in the hospital after falling ill. He is now in Mumbai with his family, whereas Smriti stays back in Sangli with her parents. Subsequent Reddit posts claimed that the wedding was called off as Palaash allegedly cheated on Smriti. The Mandhanas and Muchhals are yet to announce the new wedding date.
