Pallichattambi Trailer: Tovino Thomas Shares Full Look Of Dijo Jose Antony's Action Thriller On Easter - Watch

Easter Sunday, the full trailer of Pallichattambi has been released. Starring Tovino Thomas, the Malayalam film, directed by Dijo Jose Antony, features the actor being recruited to become protector of a small village in Kerala against a ruthless police officer. Written by S Suresh Babu, Pallichattambi is releasing in theatres on April 10, 2026. According to reports, Prithviraj Sukumaran also has a cameo in the film. Director Dijo has formerly worked with the actor on Jana Gana Mana. The feature film also stars Kayadu Lohar and Vijayaraghavan. Check out the full trailer!

Pallichattambi trailer stars Tovino Thomas as goon-for-hire

Tovino posted the full trailer on X (formerly Twitter), which gives more insights into the story of Pallichattambi. Set in the 1950s among migrant farming communities in Kerala’s high ranges, the village of Kunnumpuram is under the oppressive rule of a menacing top cop. The villagers, led by a priest, talk among themselves and pool their money together to bring in a tough goon who will fight the police officer on their behalf. The trailer mentions that they are ready to crown him their 'Christopher.'

Tovino steps in as their hero and not only does he lead the village, but he also teaches them how to arm up and fight. Dragon star Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead and Tovino's love interest as one of the residents of the village. Vijayaraghavan plays the priest who comes up with the idea of a goon-for-hire. The ensemble cast includes Baburaj, Prashanth Alexander, Mridhul Mukesh, Midhun Venugopal, Nibraz, Eldho Mathew, Josekutty, Devika Anoop, Unni Raja, Johny Antony, TG Ravi, Sreejith Ravi, Sudheer Karamana, and Siddique. Produced by Noufal and Brijeesh and the CCC Brothers, the music of Pallichattambi is composed by Jakes Bejoy. Tijo Tomy is the cinematographer, Sreejith Sarang is the editor, Dileep Nath is the art director, and the stunts have been choreographed by Action Sandhosh. Besides Malayalam, Pallichattambi will be released in five languages.

Tovino Thomas' upcoming projects

After Pallichattambi, Tovino is reuniting with his Minnal Murali director, Basil Joseph for the feature film Athiradi, which is currently under production. He will also star in Khalifa alongside Neil Nitin Mukesh and Kalyani Priyadarshan. Mohanlal is rumoured to have a cameo in the film. The prolific actor will also return in the sequel to Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra where he will reprise his double role as Michael and Maathan in Chapter 2.
