Border
2’s much-anticipated first song, Ghar Kab Aaoge, was launched at Longewala and Tanot in Jaisalmer on January 2. Starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty, the song has been sung by five singers, Sonu Nigam, Roopkumar Rathod, Arijit Singh, Diljit and Vishal Mishra. The official audio-visual track premiered amidst BSF officers, their families and thousands of fans. In one portion of the song, netizens noticed an actor, who looked similar to Akshaye Khanna. Hoping to see the Dhurandhar star back on the big screen, fans assumed that he would be making a special appearance in Border 2.
Akshaye Khanna to feature in Border 2?
However, Akshaye will not be seen in
Border 2. The person who is being compared to the veteran is a different actor. Coincidentally, they look quite similar. Amid
Dhurandhar’s roaring success, it is natural for his fans to anticipate his return to the
Border franchise, which has no direct connection to J P Dutta’s iconic war film based on the Battle of Longewala. The characters in the spiritual sequel are different.
