Dell is making it more difficult for all the badge swipers by bringing in new policies. According to a report, the employees showed non-compliance on a large level to the return to office policy introduced
by Dell previously this year. Now, in a memo shared by Dell's Vice President of North American Commercial Sales Jackie Miller, all the sales staff that the time for flexible hours is over for the onsite-classified team. The memo, obtained by Business Insider, read '“Effective immediately, all onsite-classified sales team members are expected to be in the RR, NV, and OKC offices five days a week for at least eight hours per day.' The directive focused on primary hubs of Dells situation in Round Rock Texas, Oklahoma City, and Nashville. And this is not happening for the first time that Dell has asked the employees to being five days a week office schedule. The same has been happened in September 2024. However, the latest memo on the matter also mentions a particular time requirement which was previously being handled with coordination between managers and staff. As mentioned in the memo, the recent inspections are the firm suggested that a lot of employees were not taking the five day policy seriously - either leaving in afternoon or arriving late to work.
