Dhurandhar 2: 'Kaise Karega Vo?' Udaybir Sandhu Recalls Ranveer's Reaction To Hallucination Scene - EXCL

Sandhu has left a solid impression with his performance in Dhurandhar 2. The actor plays the role of Pinda, Jaskirat Singh Rangi's (Ranveer Singh) best friend. Twenty years later, his character meets his friend Ranveer as Hamza Ali Mazari, living in Pakistan. Their confrontation scene turned out to be a major highlight of the Aditya Dhar directorial. The scene features Udaybir aka Pinda (high on drugs), hallucinating Jaskirat/ Hamza as a ghost trying to attack him. Now, in an exclusive interview with Zoom, Udaybir discussed how he received inputs from Ranveer for that scene.

Speaking exclusively to us, Udaybir revealed he started shooting for Dhurandhar 2 at the end of August 2024. Initially, he shot for the airport scene in the film. As far as the bathroom scene is concerned, it was shot 'seven to eight' months later."And from the very first day, Ranveer bhai was like, 'Kaise karega vo? (How will he do?)' Because that was the main scene. It was a crazy scene even for the film. When people were given the narration as per script, vo sab uspe shock ho rahe the, yeh ladka kaun karne wala hai yeh wala scene," he said while reflecting on the hallucination scene with Ranveer.

The actor further recalled Ranveer gave him inputs for the hallucination scene. "From the very first day, Ranveer bhai was like, 'Yaar kaise karenge? (How will we do?) Accha, isko aisa kar lena, isko aisa kar lena (So, do it like this, do it like that)'. He gave me a lot of inputs and a lot of feedback. Ek dosti hogayi thode time baad, I was very comfortable around him," he added.What happened next? Udaybir said he received help from Ranveer and different places. "Then something just happened. Ek din switch on karte ho, and then you are able to perform. I don't know hogaya bas uss din. It was a very magical day."

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 is all set to enter the Rs 1,000 crore club in India. Produced by B62 Studios and JioStudios, the spy thriller has already surpassed the Rs 1,500 crore mark at the worldwide box office. The film's star cast also includes Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, Gaurav Gera, Danish Pandor, and others.
