During a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Rukmini Vasanth expressed, "There are a lot of conversations that have been happening and it’s something that I’m very, very excited about. Hindi is a language that I’ve been familiar with since I was very young, there’s been exposure to Hindi films always. I think maybe it’s due to the Fauji connection because Hindi is always a thread that connects every cantonment to the other. That must be where it originated for me. But I am kind of excited to stretch that muscle because I have not really had the opportunity to emote yet in the language. In an exclusive chat with Times Now, Rukmini Vasanth opened up about the film’s success and their excitement post-release. She said, “We haven't had the opportunity just yet. It's been such a long and beautiful journey of creating the film, and right now we are promoting it everywhere. So we are all set to spread the Gospel of Kantara everywhere, and hopefully, in a couple of weeks, maybe even a few days, we’ll all get to come together and celebrate the success. But we are constantly messaging each other and are very thrilled by the kind of responses we’re getting from across India, from Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Jharkhand.”Kantara Chapter 1 was directed by Rishab Shetty.
