Shah Rukh Khan's King Leaked Online? Real or AI, Here’s What Actually Happened

Siddharth Anand’s King, the upcoming project starring Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and Deepika Padukone, among the star ensemble, is the next big film that the audience is looking forward to. King is touted to be a nail-biting gangster drama with its story revolving around a mentor and his discipline embarking on a rollercoaster journey filled with hardships and a survival crisis environment. The film is reported to be made on a budget of Rs 350 crore and is set to release on December 24, 2026. The fan-made version of King

An unidentified user claiming to be an SRK fan used the previously leaked footage to generate a storyline for King and compiled it into a carefully curated AI version of the film with editing. The 15-minute-long fan-made content surfaced online and instantly went viral. This AI-generated version used Mission: Impossible’s background music and featured a completely fan-made storyline for the film. The video showed scenes including Suhana and Deepika, whereas the climax showed SRK confronting Abhishek Bachchan. The video was still available over several servers and was not taken down despite multiple user reports against it.

What started it for King’s leak online

In late April, a video featuring Deepika and Shah Rukh went viral on social media. These visuals were from the set of King’s song shoot in Cape Town, South Africa. It featured Shah Rukh in an orange shirt, shooting with second-time pregnant Deepika.

However, the internet also served the fans with more visuals, including a solo sequence of SRK inside a car with blasting music in the background, which is speculated to be a collab with Ed Sheeran. These leaked clips from the anticipated movie King made the audience curious.

Reportedly, the film is in its final phase with plans to wrap up by the end of July, ahead of its release later this year. However, the constant leaks raised concerns over the security of the set. Earlier this month, director Siddharth shared a tweet with his fans, urging them to refrain from circulating any leaked multimedia from the sets of King. He stated, “The team is working around the clock to ensure the best cinematic experience for everyone. Let us wait for the surprise on the big screen and for the assets to be revealed as the team of King originally intends to.”King also stars Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma and many others.
