half of The Defenders are set to reunite on Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, when the series premieres on March 24 on Disney+. Fan favourite character Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, is back, and she will help out Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) take down Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio), who is now the mayor of New York City. The new teaser takes viewers to summer in Hell’s Kitchen, where a poster reveals that Matt Murdock is missing. Find out which of the other Daredevil characters are returning for the new season. Jessica Jones books return to MCU with Daredevil: Born Again

On social media, Marvel Studios announced the release date and new teaser of Daredevil Born Again Season 2 by saying that it was time to dance with the Devil. Returning on March 24, 2026, the new season brings back Ritter as Jessica Jones. She starred in her own Netflix series, Jessica Jones, for three seasons from 2015 to 2019.

This time, she is back in Hell’s Kitchen to team with Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, as they battle Mayor Wilson Fisk (D’Onofrio). The trailer suggests that Matt has been missing for a while. When Jessica finds the injured man, she tells him, “I hope you can walk, because I’m not carrying you.” Jessica and Matt take on Kingpin’s goons as they try to free New York from his corrupt ways. The duo had also joined forces in The Defenders. More returning characters to Daredevil: Born Again The new trailer is split into two phases. One shows happy memories with Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page and Matt, who seem to have rekindled their romance. Shots of Hell Kitchen’s neighbourhood with happy people on the streets are also added. But the appearance of Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson suggests that this is a flashblack. A smiling Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) out and about for a milkshake brings unease.The second part reveals that Kingpin is more firmly in charge of the city and is undertaking illegal operations with force. The anti-vigilante task force is on the lookout for Daredevil, while Daniel Blake (Michael Gandolfini), Kingpin’s protege and his right-hand man, Buck Cashman (Arty Froushan) bury the evidence, or in this case, the dead bodies.

The only new character revealed so far in Daredevil Born Again Season 2 is Matthew Lillard’s mysterious Mr Charles. Viewers will have to wait till March to see which side he is on.
