member V broke the internet with his latest photo dump on Instagram. While many would believe what's special about his new set of uploads, well, every picture has a background, which ARMYs started decoding as soon as Kim Taehyung posted the clicks. While we are used to V giving us a sneak peek into his daily life with regular, random pics which are more candid than about his music, his new post was not different. Infact it offered us a lot more as BTS gears up to make its big comeback to K-pop with brand new album ARIRANG, following it up with a free concert at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul and an extensive world tour spanning 2026-2027.
V's unfiltered photo dump
On February 7, V shared a total of 20 photos on Instagram with the caption "End of January, beginning of February." From several mirror selfies with headphones, poses by white flowers, to a street shot eating fried chicken, the post took us inside a normal day of the K-pop icon. He even shared an image with his Wooga Squad friend and actor Park Hyung-Sik. However, some images stood out. His interpretation of "V is for Violin," his acknowledgement of the popular AI image of him with a stubble, the 30-year-old holding a book titled
I Like Things I Cannot Understand, by poet Jo Mal-Seon, every photo has a background.
ARMYs decode, react
One photo showed the number 82 with the text "YOUR MUSIC AGE IS 82! You're into late 1950s music. Your playlist has history!" A fan reacted with the comment, "He’s got the same music age as me because of the jazz and bossa nova playlists I use as BGM." Another one said, "He is soulful of course his music taste will be oldies." A second fan wrote, "You’re into music from the late 1950s. Your playlist is full of history."
One picture showed J-Hope, Jungkook, Jin, Jimin and V stretching during a dance rehearsal. Believing it to be a prep for their comeback, ARMYs took a jibe at their awkward body pose too. Many posted reactions on X (formerly Twitter). "Wow! They are really stretching those hamstrings for the comeback," wrote a fan.
