Knight Riders player Sunil Narine scripted history in the Indian Premier League (IPL). During the KKR v/s Sunrisers Hyderabad's match, Sunil achieved a new milestone. He became the first overseas player to reach 200 wickets in the IPL. The match was held on May 3 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Interestingly, Sunil has only played for KKR throughout his IPL stint. After the cricketer achieved this feat, KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his achievement. The Bollywood superstar penned a heartfelt for the KKR player on social media.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Shah Rukh Khan shared a photo with Kolkata Knight Riders player Sunil Narine. Addressing the cricketer as friend, SRK penned, "Here’s to 15 seasons, over 200 wickets, three titles, and many more with the @KKRiders franchise around the globe!!!"
The Bollywood actor further called Sunil a magician, and admitted that he loves him like his family member. On a concluding note, SRK sent virtual hugs to the cricketer, and told to always keep smiling and be healthy. In fact, Sunil is the third player to have achieved 200-wicket mark in IPL. Cricketer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the first fast bowler to achieve this feat, followed by Yuzvendra Chahal. Interestingly, Chahal holds the record of being highest wicket-taker in the tournament.

King, coming up. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film marks SRK's reunion with Deepika Padukone. His daughter Suhana Khan will make her big screen debut with the action thriller. The Bollywood actor has been busy shooting for King with Deepika. Recently, their photos and videos from set went viral on social media. Co-starring Abhishek Bachchan, the film has been scheduled for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
The superstar's last big screen release was Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. The actor made his grand comeback to films with Siddharth's Pathaan in 2023. He starred alongside Deepika and John Abraham in the spy thriller, backed by Yash Raj Films. A few months later, he featured in filmmaker Atlee's Jawan, which marked his reunion with Pathaan co-star Deepika.
