officially left ENHYPEN in March 2026 to pursue a solo career, announced by BELIFT LAB. Meanwhile, he remains under the same label to release solo music under the name Evan. The group will continue as a six-member act (Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki). The announcement was unexpected, sparking widespread surprise and mixed reactions from Engines (fans of ENHYPEN). Days after his exit from the group, Heeseung made his first public appearance recently as soloist Evan to attend a brand event. Reacting to his appearance, several fans expressed happiness saying that Heeseung deserves all the love and support.

ENHYPEN, Heeseung made his first public appearance as soloist Evan. He attended a brand event, held at the Musinsa Megastore in Seongsu. Heeseung flaunted bright golden hair wearing a simple black suit. He posed for camera, showing hand hearts.
Reacting to his appearance, many fans expressed happiness, supporting his decision to leave ENHYPEN, while some shared that they still hope Heeseung's return to ENHYPEN. Some fans also said that Heeseung has many talents and seeing him grow as a solo artist is beautiful.
About Heeseung's exit from ENHYPEN
Heeseung formally left ENHYPEN and will continue under the same label while exploring his own musical direction. BELIFT LAB cited a desire to respect Heeseung's unique musical vision after "in-depth discussions" regarding the future direction of the team. He remains under BELIFT LAB/HYBE to work on a solo album.Following the announcement, Heeseung shared a heartfelt message with fans (Engines), expressing deep gratitude to both his fellow ENHYPEN members and the fandom, ENGENE, for their unwavering support since his early days. He thought about how their encouragement had helped him get closer to a dream that had once seemed out of reach.
He also revealed that he has been focusing on personal music projects for quite some time and is eager to share them soon,while confirming that he is currently preparing a solo album. Acknowledging the suddenness of the news, Heeseung said he understands that fans may be surprised or concerned. He apologized for any concerns his decision may have caused and stressed how grateful he was for the love he had received over the years, adding that he would carry that support with him as he embarked on this new chapter in his career. Meanwhile, ENHYPEN debuted on November 30, 2020, with their first extended play (EP)
