Charan’s upcoming film, Peddi, has been creating a solid buzz amongst the masses since its announcement. After a lot of delays, the sports drama is finally releasing on June 4, 2026. The team, including Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, has been promoting Peddi in several cities of India. Recently, they had gone to Bhopal for a special event, which was attended by talented actor Ravi Kishan. At the event, the Laapataa Ladies star heaped praise on Ram Charan’s next film and said that it will be India’s new hope. He also compared Peddi with Aamir Khan’s Dangal and 3 Idiots.

Ram Charan will get a National Award for his performance in Peddi. According to him, Peddi will remind people of 3 Idiots and Dangal, as it will make every youth of the country find himself in the film. Moreover, Ravi Kishan also said that Peddi will help a person who has lost all the hopes in life. It will inspire and give a new hope to the youngster. The actor said, “Peddi Bharat ki hope banega. Peddi yuvaon ki hope banega. Yeh woh film hai, yeh woh kahaani hai. (Peddi will become the hope of India, the hope of the youth of this country. This is such a film).”
While praising Ram Charan’s performance, the actor mentioned that he could get a National Award for his acting in Peddi. He can see awards coming. Ravi stated that Chiranjeevi is a big star and Pawan Kalyan is his very close friend. Ravi Kishan has heaped a lot of praise for Ram Charan’s Peddi.

Peddi is a sports drama, which is releasing on June 4, 2026, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Ram Charan will be seen playing a cricketer, wrestler, and runner. His character is a crossover athlete. Set in Viziangaram, Andhra Pradesh, the Peddi trailer promises to give an entertaining ride to the audience. The film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu, Boman Irani, Ravi Kishan, Viji Chandrasekhar, Rajatava Dutta, Satya, John Vijay, Ajay Ghosh, Upendra Limaye, and others in key roles. Shruti Haasan will make a special appearance in the song Hellallallo. Peddi has music composed by AR Rahman. The film has reportedly been made on a budget of Rs 350 crore. Peddi is clashing with Varun Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.
