Earlier in the day, Prabhas is currently collaborating with Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga on the upcoming cop action drama Spirit. As the filmmaker celebrates his 44th birthday on Christmas, the Rebel Star marked the occasion by sharing a behind-the-scenes picture from the film’s sets. Posting it on his Instagram Stories, Prabhas wrote, “Happy birthday bro… Can’t wait for everyone to witness what you’re creating.”

Spirit Cast changes

Initially, Deepika Padukone was signed as the female lead, but she later stepped away from the project following reported disagreements over contractual terms. Triptii Dimri subsequently came on board as the leading lady, while Prakash Raj and Vivek Oberoi play key roles. Filming for the movie is currently underway.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's work front

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently busy with pre-production and shooting for Spirit, with a rumoured 2027 release after facing some cast changes. His future plans also include Animal Park, the sequel to the blockbuster Animal, and potentially a project with Allu Arjun.
