Produced by Junglee Pictures, in association with Insomnia Films and Baweja Studios, Haq is set for a release date on November 7. Now, after a special screening for the industry experts, the filmmakers have lauded Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam's acting meanwhile mentioning Suparn S Varma's 'exceptional' direction.Nikhil Dwivedi praised the film’s impact, saying, “HAQ is terrific! Very powerful & an impactful film. It must be watched. Don't miss it.”Acclaimed filmmaker Rajkumar Gupta was moved by the film’s courage and storytelling integrity, calling it, “Brave, bold & important. Everyone should go & watch it.”Actor Rajeev Khandelwal, was taken by the film’s relevance, and said, “The film speaks about something that should have been spoken decades ago, and Suparn has done it so beautifully.”Filmmaker Tahira Kashyap singled out the emotional power of Yami Gautam’s performance, noting, “Yami has delivered her best monologue, and Suparn has directed it exceptionally. It’s powerful, emotional and so beautifully made.”Acting mentor and director Atul Mongia lauded the film’s social urgency, “This film is essential. Haq is releasing in theatres this Friday (November 7). The Central Board of Film Certification in India, along with censor boards in the UAE, Australia, New Zealand and the UK, cleared the film with zero cuts. It is produced by Junglee Pictures, along with Insomnia Films and Baweja Studio. The film also stars Vartika Singh, Sheeba Chaddha, Danish Hussain, and Aseem Hattangady in pivotal roles. For those unaware, the movie has been inspired by a landmark Supreme Court judgement.
