Saumya Tandon is riding high on Dhurandhar's success, along with the remaining cast. Infact she has revealed the one scene that stole the limelight for her, and has now become the talking point for fans.
Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and others, is director Aditya Dhar's second offering after his National Award-winning Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019). With a mammoth opening business over the weekend, Dhurandhar has already risen to the ranks of one of the biggest hits of 2025.

Dhurandhar has some extremely emotional scenes where she's got a chance to impress audience with her acting prowess. One such is when she lights up a cigar for Akshaye just before his Rehman is ready to leave the house and avenge the killing of their son by a rival gang. The scene becomes striking as it depicts Saumya's anger, motherly instinct and how she lends support to her husband despite knowing that he's embarking on a blood battle.

Saumya reposted the comment, and shared some trivia about the striking scene. She quoted, "Fun fact: This was the first scene I shot for the film and my first meeting with Akshay, in Amritsar."
