This drama also marks IU and Byeon Woo-Seok's reunion on screen after ten years, ever since they briefly appeared together in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. The show has 12 episodes in total and airs every Friday and Saturday.

Perfect Crown Episode 3 and Episode 4 are set to release on April 17 and 18 respectively. What Happened In Ep 1 And Ep 2?
Perfect Crown Episode 1 introduced Hui-Ju (IU) attending the royal king's birthday banquet, where she crosses paths with Grand Prince I-An (Byeon Woo-Seok), a man she shares a complicated school history with. When they meet, Hui-Ju directly proposes marriage, offering her wealth and capabilities in exchange for royal status. I-An rejects her, saying he wants to marry for love.
In Perfect Crown Episode 2, Hui-Ju refuses to give up and becomes even more persistent, tracking I-An's daily routine and showing up wherever he goes. Eventually, after hearing her true reasons, that she has been discriminated against her whole life for being born out of wedlock and wants to challenge that, I-an makes a decisive choice and tells Hui-ju to prepare herself to become his wife.Perfect Crown Episode 3 will focus on the fallout of their decision, with the two beginning to present themselves as a couple in public as marriage rumours spread.
