The makers took to social media to share the news with the message "Malaysia, We are coming #JanaNayaganAudioLaunch Bukit Jalil Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia See you on Dec 27, 2025."Directed by H Vinoth, the film starring Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol will hit screens on 9 January 2026 during Pongal.Soon fans flooded the comments section to express their happiness. As reported by the trade website Sacnilk, the film’s trade numbers have been great, with Tamil Nadu theatrical rights sold for over Rs 100 crore, while the overseas rights have secured around Rs 80 crore. The reports state the audio rights reportedly fetching Rs 35 crore. Digital streaming rights have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video for Rs 110 crore, taking the total pre-release revenue above the Rs 325 crore mark. As satellite and other region rights are yet to be finalised, some estimates suggest the final tally could approach Rs 400 crore.

Actress Mamitha Baiju, who features alongside him, revealed that his future in the film industry might depend on the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. On the other hand, director Lokesh Kanagaraj has a proposal for Vijay to work on the two sequels of his famous films, Master and Leo. In both of these films, Vijay went on to win praise from audience with his powerful performance.
