Jisoo is all set to star in the upcoming Netflix release Boyfriend On Demand, co-starring another prominent south Korean singer Seo In-guk. The comedy series follows a producer who tries to escape reality through a subscription-based virtual dating simulation program. And now, it has got the much-awaited release date! The new pair are all set to appear on the small screens in March 2026. This comes right after the streaming platform's official social media accounts released a 50-second teaser announcing the release date.

Boyfriend On Demand has got the release date for
March 6 as it will feature brand new pair Jisoo and Seo In-guk. This Kim Jung-sik direction will showcase the Blackpink singer as Seo Mi-rae who is a webtoon producer, as she is set to discover romance without complications of real-life relationships. There enters Seo In-guk as Park Kyeong-nam, who meets her ideal requirements among the other virtual boyfriends.
The teaser begins with the phrase, "Worn out by life and tired of dating, but still want romance?" followed by Mi-rae entering the virtual world, meeting the perfect Kyeong-nam, who simply logs her out of reality with looks and chivalry. Take a look at the teaser below:

The series will also star Ryu Abel, Park Ji Ho, Kang Min Woo, Song Ha Na, Yoo Sun Ho, Kim Sung Cheol, Gong Min Jun, Seo Hyo Rim and Ko Kyu Pil as the ensemble cast. Lee Soo Hyuk, and Park Ha Young will be part of the series as guest stars. It will have a total of ten episodes. The K-drama was originally meant for broadcast on MBC, but now it will be a Netflix original instead.
Boyfriend on Demand was filmed in the Philippines last year. It will be interesting to see how her journey for love will take a futuristic twist when she stumbles upon the 'Monthly Boyfriend' device—an invention that allows users to generate an AI boyfriend.
