Coinciding with the online debut, the film's lead actress Anjali Sivaraman opened up with Zoom about her passion for cinema and more.

In Bad Girl, Anjali Sivaraman plays the role of Ramya, a girl who dreams of finding a space for herself in the big world. As per IFFR, it is her journey through high school and college, Ramya’s dream of finding the perfect guy is obstructed by societal mores, strict parents, unrequited love and the untrammeled chaos of her own mind.While one may assume it is Anjali Sivaraman's first film, she tells that it isn't the truth. "Well...I have officially acting for 5 years now. I started with Cobalt Blue, here I am now with my Tamil Debut Bad Girl...I went to film school." said the star.
Ask her details about her family, and if she belongs to a film background, Anjali Sivaraman said "Before stepping into acting, I have also been a singer for about 10 years now. I have also been into modelling. I am Tamilian but I grew up at the air force, my dad was a wing commander at the air force, my mom singer and actress Chitra Iyer. She is the main inspiration behind me getting into this field. They (My parents) have helped us (my sister and me) develop passion for arts...I actually learnt arts in college. "
Acknowledging her roots, Anjali Sivaraman admits that she is a fan of films of the four South Indian states and she wishes to explore more projects here. "The South Indian film industry is a treasure chest of exciting cinema. So my journey into the film industry opens more avenues into me getting good projects, I am hoping to explore many interesting projects I can possibly get my hands on" the actress concluded.
