He said that on the very first day he saw her as Sita, he turned to director Nitesh Tiwari and the two of them shared a look that said everything. Both instantly knew that the casting was perfect.
Ranbir called Sai Pallavi a brilliant and accomplished actor. He said, "We all know Sai is such a brilliant actor. You know, she's accomplished so much. The first day, I remember, when I saw her as Sita, I just looked at Nitesh sir, and we both just knew that we couldn't have cast someone better than her."He then turned his attention to Yash, the KGF star who is playing Ravana. Ranbir said that Ravana is a character that demands a certain kind of aura and screen presence, and Yash has exactly that in abundance."Yash, of course, he has the stardom that he has. To play Ravana, you need somebody who has that aura and screen presence," Ranbir added.
