has officially announced a landmark live event that is already being described as one of the most significant moments in their career. Titled BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, the special concert will mark the group’s grand return and celebrate the release of their 5th studio album, ARIRANG. The event will see BTS perform new songs from the album, including the title track, live for the very first time at Seoul’s iconic Gwanghwamun Square. Scheduled for March 21, 2026, the announcement has come at the perfect time, signalling the beginning of a new chapter for the global superstars.

The event is being organised and hosted by BIGHIT MUSIC in collaboration with HYBE. According to the official notice, BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG will take place at 8 pm KST on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Gwanghwamun Square, located in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Known as one of South Korea’s most historic and symbolic public spaces, the venue choice shows the cultural weight of BTS’s return and the album’s title, which draws from Korea’s most iconic folk culture.

This live performance will be held both in person and online, allowing fans across the globe to be part of the moment. The event is designed as an outdoor concert with a mix of assigned seating and standing sections. Organizers have noted that operating standards may vary depending on participation method and viewing area, ensuring crowd safety and smooth execution. The event will be stream live on Netflix for international fans.

Tickets are FREE for the concert

One of the most talked-about aspects of the announcement is that tickets for the event are completely free. Fans can attend through two methods—via a Weverse Global application or through general onsale. For ARMY membership holders, the Weverse Global application period opens from 11 am KST on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, and runs until 11:59 pm KST on Friday, February 13, 2026. Eligibility requires ARMY Membership holders to purchase designated Weverse Global products during the application window.

For fans unable to apply through Weverse, general onsale tickets will be available via NOL Ticket, with ticket opening scheduled for 8 pm KST on Monday, February 23, 2026. The general sale is open to all, with no special ticketing requirements, making the event accessible to a wider audience. The official announcement for general onsale will be made on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 12 pm KST.In addition to the live audience, BTS will also connect with fans worldwide through a digital broadcast. BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG will stream live exclusively on Netflix on March 21, allowing global ARMY to witness the group’s first full-group performance of the ARIRANG era in real time.
