While the film continues to do well in theatres, Gayathrie Shankar has moved on to her next, and it isn't for a film. The actor is a participant at the WFDF 2025 (World Beach Ultimate Championships). In an exclusive chat with Zoom, Gayathrie Shankar opened up about her love for the sport.

Talking up about her love for Frisbee, Gayathrie Shankar said "I have been an Ultimate frisbee athlete for about 10 years now playing with many club teams in Chennai and Kerala, so it was just natural to share that part of my life with the world when I got the opportunity to represent my country on an international platform. Playing competitive sports has had a positive impact in my life that has helped me be a better actor and person."The WBUC2025 will be a seven day tournament running from Sunday, November 16th to Saturday, November 22th, 2025 held at Portimão, Portugal.
While juggling her passion for the sport how does Gayathrie, manage to continue to choose strong characters in films. She said "movies gives me the chance to live many many lives and emotions of a human existence. Allows me the opportunity to explore different aspects of life. I love this job and hence it’s not felt like it’s been these many years as I got to live my life and all the other characters lives which makes it the best aspect of my career."
Ask her if there is a dream role she would like "Unfiltered female experience something like Fleabag or recently Badgirl would be very something that would challenge me."In 2025, Gayathrie Shankar was seen in DNA, Kaayal and Kaantha.
