Times Now
Bigg Boss 19 has been full of unexpected twists and turns, and the latest double eviction episode added even more drama to the season. Bhojpuri actress Neelam Giri, who won hearts with her straightforward
nature and emotional honesty, was evicted from the Bigg Boss house on Sunday (November 9). Along with her, Abhishek Bajaj also had to bid farewell to the show as part of the surprise double elimination twist. After stepping out of the Bigg Boss 19 house, Neelam had an exclusive chat with Zoom, where she opened up about her journey, friendships, and her equation with contestant Tanya Mittal, a bond that viewers have been curious about since the beginning of the show.
Neelam calls Tanya 'pyari ladki'
Neelam shared that her friendship with Tanya has always been genuine and unconditional, both inside and outside the Bigg Boss house. Despite Tanya often being the target of trolls and criticism, Neelam expressed her unwavering affection and admiration for her.She said, "Meri dosti uske prati bahut nishchal hai day one se aur abhi tak, aur is show ke bahar bhi agar wo jeet kar bhi aati hai tabhi bhi same hi rehne wala hai kyunki mujhe Tanya se bahut pyaar hai. Mujhe wo ladki literally bahut pasand hai. Wo jaisi bhi hai, wo bahut different character hai aur wo show ke liye bahut acchi hai."She added, "Mujhe uska sab cheez accha lagta hai. Haan, wo alag cheez hai ki kaafi saari cheezein us pe troll hoti hain, bahut saari baatein, lekin usse mujhe bilkul bhi fark nahi padta hai kyunki jabhi bhi mujhe lagta tha ki mujhe usko samjhana chahiye, main definitely usko samjhati thi. Lekin wo hai hi aisi, usmein hum kuch nahi kar sakte uske liye. Aur wo bahut pyari ladki hai."(My friendship with her has always been pure from day one, and even after the show, it will remain the same. I really love Tanya; she’s a very sweet girl. She may be different, but she’s perfect for the show. Yes, she gets trolled for many things, but that doesn’t affect me. Whenever I felt I should explain things to her, I did. That’s just how she is, and I adore her for it. She is a very sweet girl.)
Neelam wants to meet Tanya outside
Neelam also admitted that there were moments inside the house when Tanya’s repetitive behaviour used to irritate her, but she clarified that such small issues never affected their bond. "Main to kabhi-kabhi thoda irritate ho jaati kyunki uska ek wo hai ki wo repeatedly karte rehti hai saari cheezein aur use ehsaas nahi hota hai, to mujhe usko rokna padta tha."(At times, I used to get irritated because she tends to repeat things without realising it, so I had to stop her sometimes.)Despite the occasional frustration, Neelam maintained that Tanya’s heart is pure, and she genuinely wants to reconnect with her after the show ends. She said, "Maine research nahi kiya hai ki kitni sacchai nahi hai, kyunki main uska intezaar kar rahi hoon ki wo jeet kar bahar aaye aur tab main usse milun aur saari cheezein main bhi jaanu, kyunki main bhi bahut excited hoon ki wo hai kya cheez. Matlab wo to andar maine dekh hi liya hai ki kya hai, lekin mujhe bahar dekhna hai ki wo exactly hai kya."(I haven’t looked into how much of what’s being said is true because I’m waiting for her to come out of the house. Once she does, I’ll meet her and learn everything myself. I’ve seen what she’s like inside, but I’m eager to see what she’s really like outside.)Watch the full interview:
