Shivaji, starring Riteish Deshmukh in the lead, is now trying hard to mint numbers at the box office in the second week. After witnessing a good second weekend, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s biopic has seen a major drop in its numbers on the second Monday. It has somehow managed to cross the Rs 70 crore mark at the box office. For the unversed, Raja Shivaji has been released in Marathi, Hindi and Telugu. It was shot simultaneously in Hindi and Marathi. Also directed by Riteish Deshmukh, Raja Shivaji was released in theatres on May 1, 2026.
Raja Shivaji Box Office Collection Day 11
According to Sacnilk’s early estimates, Raja Shivaji, starring
Riteish Deshmukh as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, saw a major drop in its number on day 11. On day 11, the film collected Rs 2.40 crore at the box office. Raja Shivaji’s collections on Monday dropped by 64.7 per cent. After Monday, the film crossed the Rs 70 crore mark. It has collected Rs 70.65 crore in India. The gross collection of the film is Rs 83.80 crore. The Hindi version collected Rs 50 lakh with only 9 per cent occupancy. On the other hand, the Marathi version minted Rs 1.90 crore with 23 per cent occupancy.
Raja Shivaji collected Rs 15.60 crore in its second weekend. However, the collections dropped on Monday. After seeing all the numbers, it looks like the film will struggle hard to make big numbers at the box office. As far as the Marathi version is concerned, Raja Shivaji has turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office.

Raja Shivaji is a tribute to Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan, Bhagyashree, Sachin Khedekar, Fardeen Khan, Genelia Deshmukh, Amole Gupte, Mahesh Manjrekar, Boman Irani, Jitendra Joshi, Siddharth Jadhav and others in key roles. Salman Khan did a cameo appearance in the film. He played the role of Jiva Mahale in the film. Riteish Deshmukh’s kids Riaan and Rahyl have also made their big screen debuts as child actors in Raja Shivaji. Produced by Genelia and Jyoti Deshpande, under Mumbai Film Company and Jio Studios, respectively, Raja Shivaji has music composed by Ajay-Atul. The film has been shot by popular cinematographer Santosh Sivan. Raja Shivaji was shot in Satara, Pune, Nashik, Mahabaleshwar and Mumbai.
