Dhanush has launched the trailer of Vikram Prabhu's 25th film, Sirai, on his social media page. The film marks the reunion of Vikram Prabhu and director Thamizh after Taanakkaran, who serves as the writer. Sirai is directed by Suresh Rajakumari is making his directorial debut with the film.

Here is #SiraiTrailer for all of you."Based on a true story, the film stars Vikram Prabhu as an armed police officer who takes on the responsibility of safely escorting Abdul Rauf (Akshay Kumar), to the court after he is suspected of murder. The trailer is filled with moments of honesty, tension, and betrayal.
The distance between the policeman and the criminal is long and Abdul's escape with a gun in the middle makes things worse. Amidst the pressure on the police, flashbacks to Abdul's personal life are also revealed. The trailer hints that his love may be the cause of the murder. These scenes, which raise the questions of "criminal or victim?", present the film's emotional and angle. The film's music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran. The film stars which stars Akshay Kumar, Anishma Anil Kumar and Ananda in the lead roles. Mathesh Manikam is the cinematographer, Philomin Raj is the editor, and Raghava Sanjeevi is the art designer.
