According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Siddharth has mounted an unimaginable action sequence at real locations of Europe and that has cost the production team Rs 50 crore. King is one of the most expensive action films of Bollywood and fans cannot keep calm anymore as new updates are dropping almost everyday. Reportedly, one of the key action moments of the film was shot in Europe and the team has spent an earth-shattering amount of Rs 50 crore for a 10-day action-packed schedule. It cost them 5 crore per day to shoot for this action sequence. If reports are to be believed, the sequence was filmed in Europe with Shah Rukh, Abhishek Bachchan, and a specialized team brought on board to execute high-octane stunts for the film. Slated for a Christmas 2026 theatrical release, the film is being positioned as a tentpole event, combining star power, international-scale action, and Siddharth Anand's signature blockbuster sensibility.

An earlier report claims that Tabu and Saif Ali Khan were initially considered to play Suhana's parents in King. However, this idea was reportedly scrapped later. It is now being said that Abhishek Bachchan might be seen as a menacing villain in King. Apart from him, the film, which is apparently a revenge thriller, will feature Munjya fame Abhay Verma in an important role.If reports are to be believed, King might have been inspired by the 2000 film Bichhoo and the French film Leon: The Professional. In this, Shah Rukh will be seen in the role of a dangerous assassin. King is Suhana Khan's second film overall and first theatrical release. Earlier, she appeared in the OTT film The Archies.For the unversed, initially, Sujoy Ghosh, the Kahaani director, was making this film, but now Siddharth Anand has taken over the command of King. The film is set for a Christmas 2026 release. The movie, expected to arrive in theatres next year, also features Anil Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji and Jackie Shroff in pivotal parts.
