Ashwin Dhar on Dhurandhar 2's 'emotionally draining' scene
In an exclusive chat with us, Ashwin revealed that the most 'challenging and emotionally draining' scene in Dhurandhar 2 was when Rakesh Bedi's Jameel Jamali traps him (Arshad Pappu) and his brother in godown.
"When we go there, and suddenly Arshad Pappu realises we're trapped. We get caught, and they kill Arshad Pappu's brother in front of his eyes. That scene was draining because imagine somebody's brother being killed in front of his eyes, and in that brutal way. I had to show those emotions about his brother being killed. It was draining and emotional. After that scene, it was a drop dead kind of situation," shared Ashwin.
Ashwin Dhar on viral football scene
The actor further reflected on his character's
brutal death scene, where Uzair plays football with Arshad's severed head. "It was quite a task... knowing that Arshad Pappu's head was knocked off and football was played with his head. So, we knew about it. When you actually do it, it's a different game altogether. It took us almost two days to shoot that sequence, although it was a very small sequence," the actor added.Ashwin mentioned that the scene was shot with a lot of precision and carefulness. "There was heat; you're lying down on the bonnet of a jeep and being dragged and then your head is being cut."
