SS Rajamouli's Baahubali The Epic is all set to enthrall fans in Japan on 12 December. Ahead of the film's release Prabhas, along with producer Shobu Yarlagadda, flew to Tokyo to promote the release of Baahubali The Epic in 4K in Japan. Social media is abuzz with visuals of Japan going ga-ga over Baahubali Prabhas.

Talking about the appreciation Prabhas is receiving, the producer Shobu Yarlagadda tweeted, "The love for @BaahubaliMovie and #Prabhas is overwhelming! Thank you Japan." He thanked all the fans for showering love on the film. Later the enthusiastic crowd was thrilled to see Prabhas talking about his experience of visiting the country.Speaking in the cinema hall Prabhas said, “After Baahubali, Rajamouli garu, Shobu garu and Laksmi garu (Shobu’s wife) have been speaking about Japanese fans so beautifully. Japanese fans are so beautiful and emotional. Laksmi garu wants to come every year because she loves Japan. And for the last 10 years, I've been hearing about Japan so much. I was supposed to come here for Kalki 2898 AD but because of a little sprain I couldn’t. But finally, I see you all (fans), thank you, it’s my dream to come to Japan. I hope I come here every year and meet the fans.”
Baahubali: The Epic is a 2025 Indian Telugu-language epic action film directed by S S Rajamouli, who co-wrote the script with his father V Vijayendra Prasad. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works, the film stars Prabhas in dual roles alongside, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishna, Nassar, Sathyaraj, Subbaraju and Adivi Sesh.he is working on Sandeep Vanga's Spirit and Hanu Raghavapudi's Fauji, post his arrival, the superstar will also kick off promotions for the horror comedy. A promotional schedule is already in the works for The Raja Saab, which is slated for a Pan India release on January 9, 2026.
