Raju Weds Rambai: Director Apologises For ‘I Will Stand At Ameerpet Signal’ Comment After Film's Positive Reviews
Speaking at the event, Saailu Kaampati addressed his earlier comment. “It came in the flow, and I am sorry about it,” he said, elaborating further that as a new director, he sometimes struggles to express himself well. “We new directors sometimes don’t know how to speak, so in the flow I said what I said about Ameerpet. I apologise for it.” He also said “I will perform with a band at that place. From outside, we will have the performance, and from inside the theatre, the film’s band sound will come out,” he said on a lighter note.
Before the film's release the director said he has no issue if someone personally doesn’t like the film, but he asked people not to spread negativity. “If you don’t like the film, it’s okay. But please don’t spread negativity. If negative talk spreads after the release on the 21st, I will walk in just my underwear at Ameerpet Junction. That’s my challenge."
