According to Pune Mirror, the reality TV contestant was arrested by Thane Police at Mumbai airport on December 4 in connection with an alleged Rs 5 crore fraud case. Jay reportedly used fake documents to sell the same store to many different buyers. Members of Jay's family, including his mother, sister, grandmother, and grandfather, were questioned in the FIR filed in the fraud case.Jay, who is known for his reality TV stints as Bigg Boss Marathi 3’s first runner-up and Splitsvilla 13 winner, is also a fitness trainer, model, and actor. The Thane Police are investigating the case, and more details about the financial fraud have yet to be released.
