Hassan, who plays elder daughter Anju George in Mohanlal's Drishyam 3, resigned from Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) earlier this year on February 21. On May 23, Ansiba accused actor Tiny Tom and a section of the members of the forum of targeting her with communal remarks and subjecting her to character assassination. She shared that this alleged harassment was the reason why she quit AMMA during interviews. The Malayalam actress revealed that AMMA leadership did not support her when another female committee member filed a false police complaint against her.

While speaking to Reporter TV and other channels, Ansiba revealed that another member had shared Tiny Tom's comments with her in which he had labeled her a "jihadi." The actor allegedly also accused her of attempting religious conversion and felt she was being targeted because she was Muslim. Rumours about her personal life were also spread. Ansiba was the joint secretary of AMMA under actress Shwetha Menon who became the organisation's first female president in August last year.
Ansiba chose not to pursue any legal action and left AMMA in February, stating personal and work pressures as the reason for quitting. However, she had told organisation's secretary the real reason why she left. She also brought up another incident when AMMA failed to support her after a female committee member filed an alleged false police complaint against her. The Drishyam 3 actress shared that she had been undergoing "severe mental stress."
Tiny Tom denies allegations
In Kochi, while speaking to the media, Tiny Tom denied the accusations against him and stated the allegations were hearsay. According to a report in
The Hindu, he told the press, "I am a person who works sincerely and speaks openly." The actor felt that the AMMA executive committee would look into the matter and decide.After Ansiba's shocking claims, personalities in the Malayalam industry spoke out on the matter. Actress Priyanka supported Tiny Tom and shared that Ansiba should have complained properly to AMMA. On the other hand, Shwetha Menon shared with the media that she had received a complaint against Tiny Tom and AMMA vice president Lakshmipriya from Ansiba.
