It was screened at TIFF on September 6, 2025.
Anurag Kashyap talks about Bandar
Earlier, in an interview with SCREEN, Anurag clarified that his movie has nothing to do with MeToo. The filmmaker added that when a film is about a false rape accusation case, such conversations are bound to happen. On the other hand, he feels MeToo is about power, where somebody is using position of power to do something. That said, the director stated that Bandar has nothing do with that kind of powerplay, s*xual angle or MeToo.
