While
Suriya is basking in the well-founded success of his latest release Karuppu, friends and colleagues in the industry have been lauding the team. The Indian film fraternity, from R Madhavan, Riteish Deshmukh to even brother Karthi, posted their congratulations to the Tamil star. But it was the clever banter between Suriya and Ranabaali actor Vijay Deverakonda that took the cake. Suriya responded to his post and asked for travel recommendations. But Vijay replied with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's advisory not to travel abroad. Check out their exchange below.
Suriya and Vijay Deverakonda's playful X banter
On X (formerly Twitter), Suriya replied to Vijay congratulating him on the success of Karuppu and his advice to "take a nice holiday." The Tamil actor asked Vijay which was a good holiday spot according to him. Vijay cheekily responded, "Prime Minister asked everyone not to go abroad." He added that he would share Indian recommendations, where Suriya could have some peaceful private time on WhatsApp.
The two South stars have a strong bond and it reflects in their fun-loving social media interactions. Later, Suriya also joked with younger brother Karthi after he posted, "Idhukkumela Enna pa venum...summa therikkudu. Anbaana fans podu vediya." The actor asked his brother where their father was.
