Indian audience has shown immense love for Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai! Now, it has become the second daily soap to transition into a feature film for the big screen. Titled Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain: Fun on the Run, it releases in theatres on February 6. As the countdown began, Vihaan Kohli, the producer of the movie, spoke to Zoom exclusively. Besides Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, the most popular sitcom on Indian television is Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Both are among the longest-running shows currently. Reacting to the comparison between them, Vihaan lauded Asit Kumar Modi for entertaining the audience for over 18 years.

Vihaan dismissed the competition between
Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai and
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He told us, “What Asit sir has done with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is tremendous. It has been running for so long, and there are many production challenges that need to be faced to keep the show on air. We don’t look at it as competition and jealousy. We need to grow together. The more love and laughter we can spread as an industry, the better.”
About Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai TV show
Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai aired its first episode on &Pictures in 2015 with Shilpa Shinde, Saumya Tandon, Aasif Sheikh and Rohitashv Gour in the lead roles. It is streaming digitally on ZEE5. After Shilpa’s exit, Shubhangi Atre joined as Angoori Devi. The film will star the lead actors of the daily soap along with Vidisha Srivastava, Ravi Kishan, Mukesh Tiwari and Nirahua. It is directed by Shashank Bali and produced by Zee Cinema along with Sanjay Kohli and Binaiffer Kohli.The show revolves around Vibhuti Narayan Mishra and Manmohan Tiwari, who are smitten with each other's wives, Anita and Angoori. The cast underwent major changes in these years. The sitcom started with Shilpa and Saumya as Angoori and Anita. They were replaced by Shubhangi and Nehha Pendse, respectively. After the latter exited the show, Vidisha took over in 2022. Shilpa has returned to

About Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah went on air in 2008. The story follows Jethalal Gada, the owner of an electronics store in Mumbai, who lives in a cooperative housing society named Gokuldham. Together, they face adverse situations and also solve routine problems. The show stars Dilip Joshi as Jethalal. The primary cast includes Amit Bhatt, Munmun Dutta, Tanuj Mahashabde, Mandar Chandwadkar, Sonalika Joshi, Sachin Shroff, Sunayana Fozdar, Balwinder Singh Suri, Nirmal Soni, Ambika Ranjankar, Sharad Sankla, Tanmay Vekaria, Samay Shah, Nitish Bhaluni and Khushi Mali.
