Akashdeep Saigal on reunion with Smriti Irani on KSBKBT 2
Speaking exclusively to us, Akashdeep opened up about reuniting with Smriti Irani after a long time. The actor described their reunion as 'two masters returning to the ring'. "There’s a shorthand, a professional rhythm that you only get with a certain level of experience. We don’t need to 'act' the tension; we command the space. She’s the pillar, and I’m the fire~when we’re in a frame together, the energy is undeniable," said Akashdeep.
We further asked the actor about his big confrontation scene with Smriti Irani aka Tulsi in the show. For the unversed, the actor's Rio questioned Tulsi for slapping his father, Karan (Hiten Tejwani). When Tulsi saw Riyansh, she was shocked. Speaking about the brief given to them, Akashdeep revealed that the brief was about 'dominance'. The actor added that they wanted the audience to feel the shift in the room."It was about two titans standing their ground. I didn't play Rio as a grandson; I played him as a man who understands his power of love. We let the performance do the heavy lifting. That’s the hallmark of professional acting-knowing when to let the aura speak for you," he mentioned.

It seems to be a 'superstar spirit' resonance-a connection that goes beyond the screen and hits the audience’s in the soul," he said and signed off.
