Mumbai’s Amboli police have registered a case against three individuals for allegedly cheating Hari Media Network Pvt Ltd of Rs 1.41 crore using forged documents and fake identities. The accused have been
identified as Rishbh Sureka, a former senior manager at the company, Yash Nagarkoti, CEO of Hooray Movies, and Ashay Shastri. According to the police, Shastri forged the signature of actress Athiya Shetty and also created a fake email ID in actor Arshad Warsi’s name for the fraud.Hari Media Network, which operates out of Haryana and Mumbai, provides advertising and marketing services. Reports state that Sureka, who handled influencer branding and project coordination, allegedly used fake signatures and documents to siphon off Rs 52 lakh into his personal account. The funds were reportedly transferred from brands such as Havells, Mahindra Lifespaces, Realme and Birla Estates.
