Varun Dhawan responds to fan question about Pakistan release
During his #VarunSays question on X (formerly Twitter), Varun was asked about several things, including his daughter Lara and, of course, his next film, Border 2. One fan asked, "@Varun_dvn #varunsays bhai apki border 2 Pakistan me kab release hogi aur me tara singh ka bht bada fan hu unko mera salam kehna." The fan asked whether the film would release in Pakistan. He also added that he was a big fan of the Sunny Deol character Tara Singh and asked to give his regards.
Varun replied, "#border 2 is a film based on the 1971 war and some true events around that. I’m sure sunny sir ke pakistan mein bhi fan hain #varunsays." Sunny Deol was also present in the original Border, directed by JP Dutta. While the Pakistani fan was referring to his Gadar character, in this sequel, Sunny plays Lt Col Fateh Singh Kaler.
