Stranger Things 5: Indian Fans Unhappy As Advance Booking Opens For Theatrical Release Of Finale In US, Canada - 'We Deserve!'

Stranger Things Season 5 will have its big finale releasing in theatres. But not every fan will get to experience the two-hour cinematic episode. The show which aired its first four episodes of Volume

1 to a thumping reaction, is now gearing up for its highly awaited next part. And while Netflix and the makers have decided to release its finale episode 8 theatrically on 31 December 2025, only viewers of US and Canada will be the lucky ones. Infact ever since the advance ticket booking for the same opened on December 1, there has been a surging demand by fans from other countries to get the same. Fans in India are not behind.

On Tuesday, several online ticketing platforms and theaters opened the booking window for advance reservations. Infact industry insiders expect a high demand given the mega success of its Volume 1.

But fans in India are a tad disappointed. Many took to social media to demand a theatrical release too. A user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "India deserves Stranger Things 5 finale in theatres too bro. Imagine Vecna on PVR 4DX with bass shaking the seats, we eating popcorn while Eleven screams. Make it happen @NetflixIndia #StrangerThings5."

Another one said, "Yes Bro, We deserve theatrical Release. Pls dudes!" A fan wrote, "Dear @NetflixIndia, Stranger Things Season 5 is a global event — and Indian fans deserve the big-screen experience too! We saw Will Byers, played by Noah Schnapp unlocking his powers by channeling the Hive Mind, taking full control of the Demogorgons, and stopping the monsters from attacking people he loves.
