Manav on challenges faced in school
During an exclusive interview with us, Indian Idol 16 contestant Manav reflected on facing challenges in school. "I have faced many challenges in my life. And I still face them. Because I have been singing since my school days, when I was around 10 years old in 5th grade. I have been singing since then," he said in Hindi.The contestant further recalled in Hindi, "I used to go to my teachers, but they didn't let me sit there. Koi famous unse sikhne aaya toh hi... main jata tha toh nikal dete the (They would exclude me). There was some partiality. My father bought me a keyboard. A small piano of Rs 600 to Rs 700. I used to play that. I had a tablet and an MP3 player. I used to listen to songs on that."

Meanwhile, Indian Idol 16 has got its top 16 contestants, and Manav is one of them.
