Recalling the incident, Isha said with a laugh, "Thappad se dar nahi lagta, pyaar se lagta hai, isliye maine bola maaro maaro. Uske baad mujhe thappad se bhi dar lagne lag gaya. She went on to describe what happened next, sharing, "So actually how it happened - he was slapping me like ‘paavam Isha’ (slowly). I said, ‘Yaar Nag, scene thoda feel karne do, thoda zor se!’ Woh thoda thoda zor se, phir toh aise hua hai, ungliyaan aa gayi thi unki, matlab 15, 14 ya 50, maine gina nahi toh."The actress recalled that people on set were unsure how many slaps actually landed. “Ye 15 number kaise aap logon ko mila tha, no idea. Kaun wahan uss time Chandralekha ke set pe baitha tha dekhne ke liye ki kitne slaps hain. But maare kaafi maare, lal ho gaya tha mera chehra,” she shared, adding that the intense moment became a lesson in acting for her.Laughing about her younger self’s commitment to method acting, Isha added, “Main apne aapko bahut method type of actor shayad samajhti thi. Uske baad maine kaha, spontaneous is better.”Watch the full interview:

Isha praises SRK
During the same conversation, Isha also spoke fondly about Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, calling him 'the definition of class.' She said, “Shah Rukh Khan is a legend, cannot really say much within the parameters of words about his class - he is very suave. He is not only limited to screens, even off screen, he is exactly like that. I think he just wears class like a blanket.”Isha further added, “He just knows how to carry himself. I think that is what is sexy about a man. Not only being chivalrous, but the kindness that he has. The way he speaks, the respect that he gives. You feel heard, you feel noticed. You feel new, and he is Shah Rukh Khan! That is a very unique quality, I have not seen in many. And that is what makes Shah Rukh, Shah Rukh.”Isha's nostalgic revelations about on-screen and off-screen stories are too endearing to miss.
