By 1:10 PM IST on Friday, December 26, thousands of players across the United States are reporting major connectivity issues. ARC Raiders continues to be the hardest hit with over 2,500 fresh complaints,
while Fortnite is trailing closely with more than 1,500 reports of login failures.Rocket League and Elden Ring both saw a spike in reports, with over 300 frustrated players each flagging connection timeouts. Since this is the second day in a row that these games have buckled, gamers are starting to lose their patience, especially since these glitches are eating right into the peak time many people have off for the holidays. When you look at the breakdown for Fortnite, the numbers tell a clear story of where the system is failing. Out of roughly 1,670 reports on Downdetector, nearly half of the affected players (44%) are stuck at the very first step, they can't even log into their accounts. Another 29% are having trouble staying connected to the servers once they get in, while 28% are finding that the matchmaking systems simply aren't working, leaving them stuck in the lobby.ARC Raiders is having an even tougher time. With 2,384 complaints filed, a massive 85% of those players are reporting total server connection failures, often seeing that "ART00004" timeout error. A smaller group (11%) is managing to play but is dealing with major lag and latency issues, while the remaining 4% are running into roadblocks with matchmaking.
