Nikkhil Advani Wishes To Reunite With Shah Rukh Khan For Film On Terrorism, Wants To Leave 'Legacy' Behind | Exclusive

Nikkhil Advani recently opened up about the drastic change in his projects, from romantic Bollywood films such as Kal Ho Na Ho to his recent productions such as Airlift and now directing season 2 of his SongLIV

series Freedom At Midnight. He specified the importance of creating a legacy, 'mai peeche kya chor raha hu.' He mentioned about being remembered for his projects and also expressed his wish to work with Shah Rukh Khan for a terrorism, war film in the future.

While exclusively talking to us, Nikkhil Advani said, "Har filmmaker/storyteller ki life me stages aate hai. Kal Ho Na Ho when I did more than 20 years back, at that time we were younger, more hopeful, love was an important thing for us."He further went on to mention that he along with Shah Rukh Khan were working on a terrorism story. "The kind of stories I want to tell now is more about legacy, mai kya peeche chor kar jaa raha hu o that people continue to say ki 'Nikkhil Advani ne banaya tha'."He is currently working on an OTT series Freedom At Midnight which is set to return for season 2 this month.

Further continuing the conversation, he boldly mentioned about making Freedom At Midnight since the read the book of the same name, authored by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins.
