Hema Malini updates everyone on Dharmendra's health status
The veteran actress and politician, who was wearing a pink-and-white salwar suit with a floral print, was seen heading out of Mumbai on November 3. At the Mumbai airport, she was questioned by paparazzi about Dharmendra's health. In a video that's making the rounds, Hema Malini greeted the paparazzi warmly as she was heading into the terminal. When asked about the actor’s health, she nodded her head and folded her hands together in prayer, assuring the media and fans that he was well.
Dharmendra admitted to hospital for routine tests
A report in the Hindustan Times also confirmed that the Apne star is well and has been admitted for routine health tests. A source told the outlet that there was no cause for concern. They shared, "The actor is in good health and visits the hospital often for routine medical tests, which is the reason for his current stay. It seems that someone spotted him there, which has led to a frenzy among his fans, but there is nothing to be worried about as he is absolutely fine." Given that he is 89, daily travel can be tiring at this age. Hence, he himself chose to stay at the hospital and finish all the tests at once instead of commuting back and forth each day. His sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, who are currently occupied with their respective film shoots, are keeping a close eye on their father’s health and staying updated on the medical tests and the results." The veteran, who is turning 90 on December 8, is gearing up for his next film, Ikkis, starring Agastya Nanda. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the biopic on the youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient, Arun Khetarpal, is also releasing in December. The war film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Sikandar Kher.
